Update on Penny Orders and Deposits from The Federal Reserve
Like you, we are following the updates released by The Federal Reserve regarding penny orders and deposits. Please review the following instructions for submitting orders through Bankers' Bank of Kansas to ensure you stay abreast of our current process:
- Submit your penny order.
- Once your order is created in PATH, the Bankers' Bank of Kansas Cash Management staff will send your order to the Federal Reserve.
- If your cash office location does not have the inventory to fulfill your penny order, they will reject the order.
- Upon rejection, you will be notified by the Bankers' Bank of Kansas Cash Management team and will need to resubmit the entire cash order excluding the pennies.
If you want to know if your local cash office has pennies available in their inventory, are accepting deposits, or have additional questions, please contact your local cash office.

International Wires - Outgoing Fee Increase Effect
November 2025
Effective November 2025, the outgoing fee for international wires will increase from $37.50 to $40.50. The updated rate sheet will be available to view online on November 1, 2025. The current rate sheets are available to view at bbok.com.

FedNow® Service Transaction Limit Increase Effective November 2025
Beginning in November 2025, the FedNow® Service will raise the transaction limit for customer credit transfers and payment returns from $1 million to $10 million. This enhancement will allow you to accommodate a wider range of payment needs your customers may have, while also offering your bank greater flexibility in setting transaction limits to effectively meet the needs of your institution. |
